Ideal Friday to enjoy some tangos and discover (or rediscover) the great variety of expressions that coexist today in this genre. #ElTangoSigueVivo is a segment where we share a selection of recently released albums. Today's record: "Te ha dado una cita el tango” by Natalia Martinez with “El Palermo Trío” In recent times generational crossovers have been the healthy consequence of tango’s effervescence, such as the one that took place between Natalia Martínez and Bartolomé Palermo on the album “Te ha dado una cita el tango" Bartolomé Palermo (who died in 2015), an historical figure of the genre, accompanied great singers such as Floreal Ruiz, Roberto Goyeneche and Roberto Rufino with his guitar; and the last decades of his life were dedicated to his “Palermo Trío” and other groups. Natalia Martínez joined the trio of two guitars and one “guitarrón” in this impeccable work that brings together eleven good tango songs. The instruments played by Palermo and his companions Adrián Lacruz and Felipe Traine show great wisdom in approaching tango and good taste in the arrangements; their strings either create intense climates when necessary or enhance the young singer’s voice. "NATALIA MARTÍNEZ CONEL PALERMO TRIO TE Ha DADO UNA CITA EL TANGO"
